The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Management and Development Office. The HR Manager as a generalist, oversees the activities of the Four (4) major sections of the HRMDO namely, Recruitment and Staffing, Benefits and Compensation, Training and Development, and the Employee and Legal Relations section.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular visitation to the different offices and branches to check the welfare of the employees and to see to it that employees are compliant with the policies of the organization.
  • Provides consultation and if needed, counseling to employees who have issues and concerns that are work-related.
  • Monitors the competitive activities of the Four (4) sections of the HRMDO by requiring officers to submit daily accomplishment report.
  • Ensures that government remittances are paid on-time and that all employees will be accorded the statutory benefits when needed.
  • Review and sign accomplished evaluation form of employees, personnel action notice, payroll sheet, certificate of employment and other HR related forms and documents.
  • Investigate and attends administrative hearing in cases that fall under the grievous offenses of the code of discipline.
  • Review and issue sanctions to personnel who has committed infractions of the COD.
  • Keep and ensures that personnel forms and records are complete, accurate and updated and are duly secured in the 201 File.
  • Maintains a complete and updated list of manpower and plantilla and oversees or regulates the manpower requests of each department.
  • Monitors the performance of employees through the regular evaluation and performance appraisal.
  • Conducts exit interview to outgoing employees and consolidate its data for presentation to the execom.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate HR programs and policies that are beneficial to both the employees and the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or equivalent field
  • MA/MS Degree is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as HR Manager - Generalist/Officer/Supervisor
