About the role

Join the team at Grand Apex Constructions Inc. as a full-time MEPFS Engineer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and security systems for our large-scale construction projects in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement MEPFS system designs that meet technical specifications and building code requirements
  2. Oversee the installation and testing of MEPFS systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot MEPFS systems during the construction process, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  4. Prepare detailed reports on the performance and status of MEPFS systems throughout the project lifecycle
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team to ensure optimal MEPFS system integration and performance
  6. Ensure all MEPFS work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  2. 5+ years' experience as an MEPFS Engineer in the construction industry
  3. Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations and industry standards related to MEPFS systems
  4. Proficient in the use of CAD software and other design and project management tools
  5. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project deadlines
