About the role

As an AutoCAD MEPFS professional at Grand Apex Constructions Inc., you will play a vital role in the design and development of engineering projects. Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics, you will contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction initiatives. This is a full-time position based in Quezon, Quezon, with opportunities for collaboration and growth within the dynamic Engineering team.

What you'll be doing

  1. Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety (MEPFS) systems
  2. Interpret project requirements, specifications and client briefs to develop accurate, compliant technical documentation
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and field engineers, to ensure drawings meet quality standards
  4. Provide support during the construction phase, troubleshooting issues and making revisions as needed
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices and technological advancements in AutoCAD and MEPFS design
  6. Mentor and train junior team members to build their AutoCAD and MEPFS expertise

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience, ideally 3+ years, as an AutoCAD MEPFS Drafter or Designer
  2. Strong proficiency in using AutoCAD software to produce 2D and 3D technical drawings
  3. Familiarity with MEPFS design principles and the ability to interpret engineering specifications
  4. Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  6. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with diverse teams
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
