About the role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this full-time MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Project Manager role at J2 CONSTRUCTION CORP.' offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the team delivering complex construction projects in the Quezon City Metro Manila area. As the MEPF Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for MEPF systems
  • Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project execution
  • Monitor and report on the progress of MEPF work, identifying and resolving any issues or risks in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, as needed
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager and other key stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the MEPF team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEPF Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the MEPF components of complex construction projects
  • Excellent technical knowledge of MEPF systems and their installation requirements
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools
  • Relevant degree or professional certification in engineering or construction management
