Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager with a strong technical background in Java and .NET technologies to oversee the successful delivery of software solutions across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has experience in the insurance or related financial services industry, demonstrating the ability to manage complex systems, multiple stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, testers, and solution architects.
  • Oversee project planning, scope definition, risk management, and budget tracking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from business and technology units to define requirements and ensure delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure the application of software development best practices across Java and .NET projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with internal IT policies and standards.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery management roles.
  • Strong background in Java and/or .NET development.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications, preferably within insurance, banking, or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to policy administration, claims, or billing systems in the insurance domain.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices-based architectures.
  • PMP, Agile, or ITIL certifications are advantageous.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php110,000.00 per month
