Work from Home, Philippines Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Full time ₱1,200,000 - ₱2,400,000 per year

We are looking for a highlye xperienced Electrical estimator with experience in High Voltage to work remotely for one of the largest energy provider in NZ.

You will support the planning and delivery of electrical network upgrades, subdivisions, underground/overhead works, and commercial/industrial connections by producing accurate estimates and technical documentation.

This is a long-term role with excellent exposure to NZ standards, industry practices, and projects that genuinely make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works (overhead, underground, substations, distribution networks).
  • Read, interpret, and extract quantities from engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Prepare material take-offs (MTOs), labour costing, equipment costing, and supplier price comparisons.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, tender submissions, and pricing schedules.
  • Liaise with project engineers and planners to validate design assumptions and clarify scope.
  • Maintain a database of suppliers, price lists, and standard installation costs.
  • Ensure all estimates meet New Zealand electrical network standards & safety requirements (training provided).
  • Support the team with any related documentation, planning, or technical tasks.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical background.
  • 5+ years experience as an Electrical Estimator in utilities, EPC, power distribution, construction, or related fields.
  • Strong capability with:
  • Electrical drawings
  • BOQ preparation
  • Cost estimation software (any)
  • MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
  • Experience in any of the following is a big advantage:
  • Distribution networks (11kV/33kV)
  • Underground cabling
  • Overhead line construction
  • Substation works
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to work NZ business hours (PH early shift).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
