They specialize in residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications, and offer tailored services to their customers.
About the Role
As a Purchasing Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering purchase orders, inventory receipts, and related vendor data into our internal systems. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, an understanding of purchasing workflows, and the ability to ensure that inventory and order records are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Enter purchase orders, vendor information, and inventory receipts into the company's software systems
- Accurately record product quantities, descriptions, pricing, and vendor details
- Match receiving documents to purchase orders to confirm correct delivery of goods
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and accounting teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized records of purchasing transactions and vendor communications
- Monitor open POs and follow up on incomplete or delayed deliveries as needed
- Support purchasing staff with general administrative and clerical tasks
- Assist in keeping item master and vendor data current in the system
- 1-3 years of experience as a Purchasing Clerk or other relevant experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with US based company is preferred.
- Experience in electric/plumbing/HVAC is an advantage.
- Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software.
- Self-motivated and driven; self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
- Ability to research and come up with solutions independently.
