Job Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate posting in QuickBooks.
  • Oversee payroll processing and maintain proper documentation for all payroll-related activities.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts monthly.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable and coordinate all expense documentation.
  • Maintain alignment between physical/digital paperwork and system records.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, summaries, and reports.
  • Perform in-depth financial reviews and support complex data analysis across entities.
  • Maintain general ledgers, chart of accounts, and support tax/audit preparation.
  • Collaborate with project management teams on budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently across multiple companies and projects.
  • Lead or collaborate with bookkeeping/accounting team members.
  • Utilize MS Excel for reporting and data management.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Work Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing for U.S. accounts. Background in the construction industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience handling multiple entities (ideally 10 companies)
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and maintaining data integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct high-level financial reviews and perform complex data analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience working with or leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
