Contracts Admin Attorney

Position Summary:
The Contracts Admin Attorney abstracts legal information from contracts. The position entails reviewing contracts and determining if they are in scope. If the contract is deemed in scope, the Contracts Admin Attorney extracts information from certain legal fields and identifies key legal provisions to support the legal fields. The Contracts Admin Attorney also performs quality review over the work product of the team. The Contracts Admin Attorney performs tasks directly related to the contract coordination and contract lifecycle management of the client's database. The Contracts Admin Attorney is expected to, among others, prepare reports for management and the client; conduct training for any new team members, if necessary, and exercise other duties to support the CA Legal Team Lead.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Production (85%)
- Conducts scoping exercises to determine if the contracts are within scope
- Undertakes first level abstraction of contracts
- Performs quality review of contract abstracts and other deliverables, in accordance with client guidelines and feedback
- Performs tasks directly related to the contract coordination and contract lifecycle management of the client's database
- In the absence of the Legal Team Lead, tracks and reports metrics
Reports & Admin (15%)
- Attends regular Team meetings and operations meeting and client calls as required
- In the absence of the Legal Team Lead, manages InsideTrack matters, corrects entries, and creates/modifies user and project profiles
- In the absence of the Legal Team Lead, prepares and submits assigned reports to Management or Client
- In the absence of the Legal Team Lead, ensures that Information Security requirements and policies are adhered to by the Team
- In the absence of the Legal Team Lead, communicates the resources movements of team members to Talent Management
Ad Hoc
- Conducts training on the client's proprietary databases as needed
- Leads special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a member of the Philippine Bar
- Preferably at least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar corporate environment
- Fresh Bar Passers are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Above average to excellent English communication skills, both in oral and written forms
- Has strong understanding of Contract Management
- Contract Lifecycle Management technology platform experience OR expertise is an advantage
- Must be amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (office located in Ayala Ave., Makati City), graveyard shift schedule, and Philippine holidays.
