HR Assistant

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Recruitment Support
a. Assist in posting job advertisements
b. Screen resumes and applications for shortlisting of candidates
c. Schedule and coordinate interviews
2. Onboarding and Offboarding
a. Assist in new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed
b. Assist in the offboarding process when employees leave the organization, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring the return of company property
3. Employee Records Management
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations).
4. Payroll and Benefits Administration
a. Assist in processing payroll by ensuring accurate timesheet records, leave balances, and deductions
b. Support in administering employee leave requests
5. Employee Relations Support
a. Act as a point of contact for employees, answering HR-related questions or directing them to the appropriate person for further assistance
b. Help in organizing employee events, training sessions, and engagement activities
6. Compliance and Reporting
a. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by keeping up to date with changes in regulations
- Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leave.
7. General Administrative Support
a. Manager HR-related correspondence, including preparing official letters, memos, or reports.
b. Handle office tasks like managing office supplies or coordinating meetings and appointments for the HR team
c. Assist in the administration of company policies, helping with policy updates and communication with employees
