General Position Definition – Purpose

A Key Account Manager (KAM) manages and develops the Direct B2B Accounts network of PLPI in a specific Channel Segments in terms of improving and sustaining the Company's sales performance and revenue. The KAM manages all sales activities (order-to-payment) in an assigned area. This include, but not limited to, developing new key accounts for specific channels (manufacturing, developers, HORECA, National Key Accounts) opening and developing commercial sales channels, reconciliation of accounts, execution of sales strategies and LPG System Installations, among others.

General Position Definition- Principal Accountabilities

  1. Monitors performance of Key Accounts customers for the realization of the approved sales target volume
  2. Development of SPANCOP for Business Growth align with the sales target
  3. Ensures volume, DSO and margin targets are met
  4. Attends to ministerial requirements of key accounts
  5. Increases business opportunities by identifying and developing key channels and other non-traditional customers
  6. Monitors competitors' activities through market intelligence and pursues new potential to ensure the company's market share is enhanced
  7. Strictly monitors prices through effective customer account management and market price movement to maintain competitiveness in the market
  8. Regularly monitors the credit of Trade Account Receivable (TAR) and ensures timely collection of due accounts
  9. Maintains good professional relationship with existing customers for repeat business

10.  Manages Order-to-Cash (OtC) relationships of distributors, accounts and retailers.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree holder of any course (with preference to Sales/marketing and other Business-related courses)

·       
1 to 2-year experience in B2B or B2C Sales, Route-to-market, Petroleum industry

·       
Highly independent and can work with minimal supervision

·       
Ability to Adapt & Prioritize Across Multiple Tasks and Unexpected Situations

·       
Can solve pragmatic simple to complex issues, collaborative

·       
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

·       
Good decision-making skills; as based on on-hand facts and logic 

·       
Good knowledge of Customer Marketing Database and how to use them

·       
Wide knowledge on logistics and supply chain management form order to cash

·       
Assertive, people-person
