About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and system clean-up.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on, business-minded, and confident — able to organize data accurately, reconcile statements, and deliver precise reports without supervision. This is not a training role; the successful candidate must already have proven experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping for small to mid-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations across QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Perform accurate bank reconciliations, ensuring transaction dates match bank statements.
  • Record and allocate remittances, payables, and receivables correctly and on time.
  • Generate monthly Profit & Loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Audit and clean up existing QuickBooks and Xero files to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Prepare and compare multi-year ledgers, verifying that end balances and historical data match.
  • Provide monthly financial insights and identify irregularities or trends.
  • Communicate daily with the business owner or manager, answering questions confidently and promptly.
  • Maintain organized documentation and secure handling of all financial records.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Proven proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and Xero — live testing required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, bank reconciliations, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and data validation.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills — must be able to explain numbers clearly and confidently.
  • Experience working with international clients (preferred)
