We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper with a valid CPA license to manage full accounting operations of five (5) corporations or more. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple company books efficiently.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.

Your guidance will empower the company's leaders to make informed decisions that align with the organization's long-term goals.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company's growth and profitability.

Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts for all corporations
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records ad financial statements
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
  • Manage accounts payables, account receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and filing deadlines
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecast
  • Coordinate with external auditor and government agencies.
  • Consolidate financial data and provide management analysis reports
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
  • Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • With at least 5-8 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Experience handling multiple companies or group of corporations preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, or other accounting software
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as Accountant/Bookkeeper
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php50,000.00 per month
