In this role, you'll handle everything from processing invoices, payroll, and reconciliations to preparing BAS, IAS, and management reports — all while working with industry-leading tools like Xero and MYOB. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, liaise directly with clients, and contribute to improving processes and delivering outstanding service.

Job Highlights:
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:30 PM 2ith 1 hour break Perth time
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 
  • Processing supplier invoices and managing creditor pay runs, following approval processes, and uploading payments to the bank.
  • Accounts receivable invoicing and receipting.
  • Payroll management and processing (including superannuation and salary sacrifice) using Xero, and MYOB.
  • Maintaining client Xero & MYOB files with timely bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Preparing IAS & BAS returns and Payroll Tax lodgments.
  • Performing end-of-month balance sheet reconciliations and profit & loss reviews.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Assisting with forecasting and management consulting.
  • Supporting the team with tasks to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Identifying potential issues or opportunities and raising them with Managers or Directors.
  • Liaising directly with clients to respond to queries and provide information
Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years bookkeeping experience in a professional services or business environment.
  • Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Strong communication and client service skills
