Assistant General Manager

- Oversees the overall operations of the company, creates policies, manages budgets, develops employees, trains department heads, develops strategic plans, and communicates business goals.
- Ensures a fair return to stockholders and chassis owners.
Job Responsibilities
General Management / Administration
- Prepares the annual budget/target as a basis for profit planning and a guide for all activities and operations.
- Reports to the Executive Committee, President, and Chairman to evaluate company performance and take appropriate actions as needed.
- Evaluates the performance and productivity of all personnel, serving as the basis for annual performance reviews and merit increases, if any.
- Leads and motivates employees through regular dialogue to maintain positive well-being.
- Works closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure proper management of company financial requirements.
- Develops employees to support growth and improvement within the organization.
Financial Management
- Conducts financial data gathering to measure company performance.
- Monitors revenue closely and implements cost management strategies to achieve budget forecasts.
Operations
- Ensures that all functions of the Operations Department are efficiently carried out through close coordination with the Operations Manager/CY Supervisor.
Report Preparation
- Prepares monthly performance reports based on the finalized monthly financial statement, sales, and operations data, and submits them to the Executive Committee.
Supervision
- Exercises administrative control over subordinates regarding attendance, performance appraisal, discipline, training, career development, and work behavior.
- Ensures a harmonious and safe work environment to promote effective teamwork.
Others
- Participates in the final selection of new hires.
- Attends regular management meetings.
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of staff reports before submission to the President/Chairman.
- Performs other tasks assigned by the immediate superior related to official functions.
Relationship Management
- Coordinates with the CY Supervisor regarding personnel performance to ensure efficiency.
- Coordinates with the Finance Department of Rayomar Management, Inc. (RMI) regarding financial matters (daily cash position, general cash flow, financial statements, etc.) to stay updated on financial aspects of the business.
- Coordinates with clients to address concerns, resolve issues, and build strong business relationships.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of B.S. in Business or Engineering, preferably with a Master's Degree.
Work Experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in the transport business.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in chassis leasing in a managerial capacity.

- Strong background in marketing/sales management, budget preparation, profit planning, organizing, and implementing systems.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.
