About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Technical Assistant (Mechanical/Electrical Engineer) to join our team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our Building Services Engineering division. As a Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and assistance to our engineering team, helping to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure
  2. Conducting site inspections, surveys, and assessments to identify and resolve technical issues
  3. Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and reports
  4. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  5. Providing technical support and guidance to our clients and on-site teams
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  7. Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Liscense)
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building services engineering
  3. Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  7. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
