Responsible in assisting the construction and completion of eyewear purchased by the customer to meet their vision needs and style preferences.  Interprets prescriptions, checks lens quality & prescription and ensures that customers receive proper fitted eyeglasses.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.    CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE:

1.     Completes the construction of customer's eyewear based on their prescriptions and preferences.

2.    Verifies the accuracy of eyeglass prescriptions provided by customers and communicates with Optometrists for clarifications or updates.

3.    Ensures that eyeglass frames are fitted correctly to the customers' face, providing comfort and proper vision alignment.

4.    Makes frame adjustments and repairs as necessary to improve its fitting.

5.    Processes completion of eyewear, including quality check, lens cutting and edging.

6.    Applies lens coatings, such as anti-reflective scratch-resistant, and UV protection, as requested by the customer.

B.    QUALITY CONTROL:

  1. Ensures that all eyewear products meet quality standard and comply with industry regulations.
  2. Inspects and verifies the accuracy of completed eyeglass orders.

C.    AFTER SALES

  1. Addresses customer inquiries and concerns politely.
  2. Maintains a professional and accommodating attitude in the store.

D.    INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:

  1. Maintains an organized area with proper labelling of jobbing and lenses.
  2. Helps in the deliveries of stocks and supplies to support operations.
  3. Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by Management that will ensure accurate cost efficient and smooth flow of operations.
