We are looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support one of our U.S. clients in the security systems industry. The client offers security solutions for both commercial and residential properties, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, and integrated monitoring systems. This role is responsible for remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting the client’s network and security infrastructure. What you’ll be doing: Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM): Monitor network performance, servers, and connected security devices. Identify issues proactively and resolve alerts to minimize downtime. Ensure connectivity for surveillance cameras, access control systems, and security gateways. Technical Troubleshooting: Support field technicians remotely during system installations and service calls. Diagnose and resolve issues with IP-based cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and access control integrations. Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineers when necessary. System Maintenance & Documentation: Perform scheduled updates, patches, and preventative maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes. Recommend tools, procedures, and equipment improvements for greater efficiency. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a technical resource for the client’s internal team and field service staff. Provide clear communication on issue status and resolution steps. Assist in building knowledge bases and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications and Requirements: 2+ years of experience in network operations, IT support, or NOC environment. Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls). Hands-on experience with IP surveillance systems (CCTV, NVR/DVR) and access control technologies. Familiarity with RMM platforms, remote troubleshooting tools, and incident management systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
