JOB PURPOSE:

The Service Technician's purpose is to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems and equipment. This includes services such as telephone lines, internet connectivity, CCTV, and other communication technologies. The technician ensures that these systems are operating efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.

  2. Monitoring the operation of security equipment for malfunctions or other problems.

  3. Performs duties as assigned in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

  4. To ensure that at all times tools and safety equipment are regularly maintained in good and safe working order and that test gear is regularly calibrated and labelled as required.

  5. To observe and promote safe working practices and help maintain working areas in a tidy and workmanlike manner.

  6. Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine operator level preventive maintenance on CCTV digital video, network and Fiber optics equipment at customer sites.

  7. Terminating different forms of industry cabling including cat5e, cat6e and coaxial.

  8. Understand Scope of Work layouts.

  9. Work with other contractors to collaborate on the project.

  10. Capable of setting up/programming NVR's and integrate access, video, and other related security functions.

  11. Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing complex electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments and equipment.

  12. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationship of circuits and judgement in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and test equipment.

  13. Offer timely technical support.

  14. Support the implementation of the company's and department's plans and programs.

  15. Other tasks that may be assigned in connection with the position.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or any related field.
  • With NCII certificate is advantage.
  • 2-3 years related experience as CCTV Service Technician or similar role.
  • Understanding of computer systems, IT components.
  • Excellence troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communications abilities.
  • Exceptional organizing and time-management skills.
  • Possess a good problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.

LOCATION OF WORK:

  • Primarily works and travels outside the office as the demand of the job requires it.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
