Accounting Manager (Accounting BPO)

Location: Cebu City

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to lead our Accounting Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations in the Philippines. The successful candidate will oversee the recruitment, selection, and management of Bookkeepers, Accountants, and Auditors, ensuring optimal team performance and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in accounting, leadership, and management, as well as prior experience in a similar position within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for Bookkeepers, Accountants, tax professionals and Auditors.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and training process for new team members.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of accounting staff to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development within the team.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to meet their unique needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive strategic planning initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and achieve business goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular progress reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
  • MBA prefered
  • Proven experience in a leadership position within an accounting BPO or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic business needs.
