Company Description

Treasure Island Industrial Corporation is a Cebuano-based conglomerate founded in the 1950s. The company specializes in manufacturing and repacking of lacquers, thinners, epoxy primers, and other construction chemicals. Additionally, they produce quality architectural, industrial, and automotive paints under the name "Island Paints." Treasure Island also manufactures styrofoam boxes, metal containers, tin cans, and shrinkable plastic seal caps and labels. The company's products are increasingly becoming prominent players in both local and national markets.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager, located in Cebu. The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, including managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, performing audits, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The position will involve collaboration with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
