We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer who will be working with Connext's Client in the United States of America.

What is the job?

The Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the company's quality management program to meet regulatory and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:


• Audit internal controls across compliance, security, risk, and governance

• Support external audits (SSAE 18 SOC 1/2, ISO 9001, ISO and evidence prep

• Evaluate controls and risks with Compliance Manager; drive remediation to closure

• Report findings and recommend corrective actions; deliver compliance training

• Maintain privacy/data protection records (RoPA, DPIAs, LIAs); advise on GDPR/standards

• Monitor and report compliance metrics; escalate data security risks

Qualifications:


• Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a compliance, governance, or audit-related role.

• Operates in highly technical settings (information systems, finance, engineering)

• Applies compliance frameworks and supports audits (ISO 9001/27001, SSAE 18)

• Engages external auditors/agencies; uses ISO 31000 risk standards

• Manages multiple workstreams and meets agreed timelines

• Self-motivated; expands compliance knowledge; drives continuous improvement

• Communicates clearly in English with stakeholders at all levels
