About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at JC Premiere Business International Inc in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organisation operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This is a full-time position that will require your expertise in the Government & Defence - Local Government industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and review compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement remediation plans to address compliance gaps
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory authorities
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the organisation accordingly
  • Assist in the implementation of internal controls and procedures to mitigate compliance risks
  • Provide guidance and support to the organisation on all compliance-related matters

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role within the Government & Defence - Local Government industry
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address compliance risks
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective compliance programs and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve compliance objectives
  • Proficient in the use of relevant compliance management software and tools
