Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Advertising to lead our advertising sales team. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenue through the sale of advertising solutions across digital, print, broadcast, or out-of-home media platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of media sales, a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets, and the leadership skills to motivate and mentor a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company advertising revenue targets.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients and advertising partners.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of account executives and sales representatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and media buyers.
  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to align ad products with market demands.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in a timely, professional manner.
  • Monitor team performance, set KPIs, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in advertising/media sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of advertising sales techniques, media platforms, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
