Job Title: Social Media Manager

Role Overview:

The Social Media Manager will own the end-to-end social media presence of Aqua+ - from strategy and content planning to publishing, community management, and performance tracking. This role is both creative and executional: you'll think of ideas, write the copy, coordinate shoots, and make sure our pages are consistently active and on-brand.

You will work closely with the Multimedia Artist to turn ideas into scroll-stopping content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and refine the social media strategy for Aqua+ across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Define and maintain content pillars, tone of voice, and visual direction aligned with the brand.
  • Create monthly content calendars (posts, Reels/TikToks, Stories) based on campaigns, product priorities, and key dates.

2. Content Ideation & Copywriting

  • Generate content ideas (educational, entertaining, "satisfying cleaning," tips, before/after, reviews, promos, UGC).
  • Write hooks, captions, basic scripts, and on-screen text for short-form videos.
  • Prepare clear briefs and shot lists for the Multimedia Artist and any talent/creators.

3. Publishing & Community Management

  • Schedule and publish content on relevant platforms, optimizing timing, format, and hashtags.
  • Monitor comments, DMs, tags, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally using the brand voice.
  • Coordinate with customer service/sales for inquiries that require detailed responses (pricing, orders, complaints).

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance metrics: reach, engagement rate, saves, shares, followers, link clicks, and inquiries.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommended adjustments.
  • Test and learn: experiment with content formats, posting times, and hooks to improve results.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Multimedia Artist on concepts, pegs, and revisions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e-commerce, sales, customer service) to align promos and announcements.
  • Occasionally coordinate with influencers/creators for UGC or collaboration content (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management for a brand, agency, or startup
  • Strong copywriting skills for social media - especially short, catchy hooks for Reels/TikTok.
  • Solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok best practices (formats, trends, hashtags, algorithms).
  • Comfortable reading basic analytics (Meta/TikTok analytics, etc.) and turning data into simple insights.
  • Organized, with experience managing content calendars and deadlines.
  • Proactive, creative, and willing to test new formats and ideas.
