Position Overview

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role includes managing sales activities, preparing proposals, monitoring market trends, and coordinating with operations to ensure efficient deployment of manpower to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in various industries (e.g., schools, hospitals, logistics, manufacturing).
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations to close contracts.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and service agreements.

Client Relationship Management

  • Gather client requirements and coordinate with recruitment and operations teams for timely deployment of manpower.
  • Address client concerns and provide solutions to maintain service quality.

Sales Administration

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Track and follow up on pending proposals, contracts, and collections.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all sales transactions and client interactions.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations for improving sales approaches, service offerings, and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HRM, or related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of sales experience, preferably in manpower, staffing, or service-oriented industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Goal-driven, resourceful, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel for client visits and fieldwork.
