Qualifications

  • Graduate of Legal Management, Political Science, or related course
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Department
  • Background in government bidding (preferably as a bidder)
  • Knowledgeable in RA 9184 and procurement laws
  • With at least 2 years in law school or equivalent Paralegal training
  • Willing to work onsite, Monday–Friday

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of government bid documents, ensuring eligibility and complete requirements
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including:
  • correspondence and requests
  • simple pleadings
  • secretary's certificates and board resolutions
  • lease agreements and bidding-related documents
  • Coordinate with internal departments and government agencies
  • Oversee and manage the company's Bid Audit process

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file government regulatory requirements (e.g., GIS, Audited Financial Statements)
  • Support labor relations by drafting: (a) demand letters, (b) notices to explain, (c) decisions and other admin case documents
  • Handle special projects, including research, analysis, reports, and urgent legal concerns
  • Perform administrative tasks and prepare external communications as assigned by the Legal Head or Senior Legal Officers

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Can work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Resourceful and professional when dealing with government offices
  • Knowledgeable in: (a) government procurement (RA 9184), (b) contract drafting, (c) labor relations, (d) SEC-related compliance
