Your Role in the Experience

Be part of our client's team as a Reservations Consultant and support the Groups team in managing and processing group bookings for properties across Australia. You'll ensure every reservation is seamless, accurate, and handled with care, while maintaining top-tier customer service and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience
  • Background in an administrative role, preferably within the tourism industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional communication style, with precise email correspondence that follows company guidelines and policies
  • Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changes in pace
  • Technologically savvy and capable of operating multiple programs simultaneously
  • Experience using a Property Management System or Reservations System (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience working toward key performance indicators (KPIs)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Handle all administrative aspects of group bookings
  • Create accurate group allocations based on instructions from the Adelaide Office Team, ensuring processes are followed and proper documentation is issued
  • Act and respond promptly to sales updates from partners as assigned by the Adelaide Office Team
  • Conduct pre-arrival checks on group bookings, including rooming lists, special requests, bedding configurations, dining requirements, and tour arrangements
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Reservations Team
  • Process large volumes of booking data with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators while adhering to service level agreements
  • Manage high volumes of enquiries while delivering excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with the Group Reservations Team and key internal stakeholders
  • Contribute actively to team goals and collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and adapt quickly to new technology
  • Work flexible hours based on operational requirements (currently Monday to Friday business hours with set WFH days)
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as required
  • Follow documented procedures and company standards
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and escalate any concerns when necessary
