Job Title: Senior Associate Lawyer

Location: Makati City (NICLD Branch) – candidates from Pasig, Makati, or BGC preferred

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

NICLD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Lawyer to join its Makati branch. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of solid experience in corporate litigation and possesses background working with or in government. This role will work directly under the CEO and contribute to high-level legal strategy, representation, and organizational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle complex corporate litigation matters and provide sound legal advice to the organization.
  • Represent the company in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Provide guidance on compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with executives and departments to align legal strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Liaise with government agencies and regulators as necessary.
  • Support the CEO with legal analysis and ensure effective legal risk management.

Qualifications

  • Licensed lawyer in the Philippines with at least 3 years of corporate litigation experience.
  • Background in government work (experience dealing with government agencies, regulatory matters, or prior employment in government offices is highly preferred).
  • Strong skills in litigation, corporate law, and contract management.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work closely with executives and teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
