Your Role

As our in-house Lawyer/Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal guidance across a range of international and domestic matters. This role requires strong capability in intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and contract drafting, with a particular emphasis on international frameworks especially Australian law. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the organisation's interests while supporting growth and innovation.

· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, legal documents, and contracts.

· Advise on intellectual property matters including trademarks, copyright, and licensing.

· Ensure compliance with international laws as well as relevant international regulations.

· Support corporate structuring and cross-country business activities.

· Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership, aligning legal risk management with commercial objectives.

· Manage company processes and liaise with external counsel as required.

· Assist in developing policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks if required.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal considerations into operations, partnerships, and product development.

Qualifications & experience

· Law degree and admission to the bar to practice law.

· Minimum 5 -10 years' post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to international law, IP law, corporate law, and commercial practice.

· Demonstrated experience with contracts, IP law, and regulatory compliance.

· Familiarity with international law with knowledge in Australian legal frameworks (commercial law, contracts, IP, and regulatory matters) preferred.

· Strong understanding of corporate governance and risk management principles.

· Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Ability to balance strategic advice with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

· High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
