ShareJob DescriptionDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Office & Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for sustainable procurement initiatives, including contract management, supplier relationship management, supporting procurement projects across all business units of RCG GBS, and supervising vendor contract administration/management services responsible for the end-to-end purchasing function through to accounts payable. The role involves performing strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend to support business requirements for office administration, including office supplies, commodities, corporate-branded merchandise, consumables, and inventory management. Additionally, this position manages, plans, and coordinates office & facilities, administrative procedures & systems, and devises ways to streamline processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLocal Procurement:Research suppliers from various sources. Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts. Create procurement and negotiation strategies based on relevant variables.
Plan, organize, direct, control, and communicate all strategic sourcing activities related to procurement for office administration needs. Perform price analysis and confer with suppliers regarding price, availability, and delivery schedules. Negotiate prices, availability, and coordinate with Logistics on transportation and delivery schedules.
Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness and compliance. Develop systems to evaluate vendor quotations ensuring quality, price, delivery, and service standards. Manage supplier performance to ensure high-quality service and cost efficiency.
Oversee activities related to the management of assigned spend from purchase intent to delivery. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
Negotiation and analytical skills. Good organization, time management, and scheduling skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Excellent report writing, business correspondence, and manual development skills.
Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from various groups. RequirementsRefer to the detailed job description above.
