Procurement Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that the company secures the best value in materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, warehouse, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs.
- Review and analyze suppliers, products, and services to ensure compliance with quality and company standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and supply chain developments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of procurement software is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
