The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for handling the procurement process—from sourcing and vendor coordination to purchase order management and delivery follow-ups. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely material availability for ongoing projects in the U.S., maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the operations and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with our U.S.-based team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate vendors for solar equipment and materials (panels, inverters, batteries, racking, etc.).
  • Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders using our internal system (Zoho CRM / ERP).
  • Coordinate with U.S. warehouse and logistics teams for delivery confirmations and shipment follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and purchase records, including pricing and lead times.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast material needs based on project pipeline updates.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers to confirm availability, negotiate terms, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the accounting department by matching invoices with purchase orders and verifying delivery receipts.
  • Generate and update procurement reports for management review.
  • Suggest process improvements to optimize purchasing efficiency and vendor relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination (experience in solar, construction, or electrical industries is a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM/ERP platforms (experience with Zoho preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (CST) and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Stable internet connection and reliable home office setup.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
