KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Advises managers and supervisors of regulations and effective human resource practices with regard to employee issues.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the organization's training programs and recommends areas of improvement.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Prepares and improves HR systems for continuous improvement and organizational growth.
- Organizes workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Conducts new hire employee orientations, appraises employees of benefit options, and accurately completes requisite paperwork for new staff members.
HIRING AND RECRUITMENT:
Leading hiring and recruitment activities. Coordinate all stages of the hiring process, including posting job openings, reviewing and screening applications, conducting interviews, and on boarding new employees. HR supervisors also oversee background checks and drug screens while ensuring compliance with all state and local employment laws.
Arranging training sessions with all new hires and refresher workshops for existing employees.
- Assisting managers with staff requirements.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
Addresses employee conflicts and complete investigations as required. Work with management to administer employee discipline or corrective action when needed. Assess employee engagement and retention, and actively work to identify, analyze, and improve any problematic areas.
Conduct disciplinary actions.
Enforcing company policies and leading disciplinary procedures. Developing and managing performance management systems to track employee performance and disciplinary actions as well as learning development.
Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures. Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.
EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENIFITS:
- Managing employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and bonuses. Managing employee relations and conducting conflict management and resolutuion
PAYROLL:
Manage payroll.
Check, validate DTR and process Payroll.
Ensure that employees have a systematic method for reporting work hours. Make certain that payroll taxes are paid in a timely fashion and manage miscellaneous payroll deductions like contributions are computed and remitted correctly.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
Plan and hold trainings.
Design and implement training and development programs for employees.
Identifying and addressing employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.
Developing and managing performance management systems to track employee performance and conduct performance evaluations.
- Counselling staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
COMPLIANCE TO LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Oversee 100% compliance of Sites to Legal requirements and permits (Zoning, Building, Barangay clearance, Sanitary Permit, Fire Safety Certificate, and other permits pertaining to the operations or business)
PREPARE FOR AUDITS:
Help other management team members prepare for audits. Ensures that other required documents are completed and properly filed, among other tasks.
Performing various administrative tasks and accurately processing paperwork.
OTHERS:
Understanding and listening to various department managers to understand their staffing requirements.
Conducts and schedules General Assembly of all sites.
Conducts and schedules Site Visits.
WORK RELATIONSHIPS:
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Receives direct supervision from the President/CEO
INTERNAL: Deals with the members of 3MD Leadership team/Site Heads.
EXTERNAL: May deals with consultants, clients, suppliers, and regulatory representatives.
