Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the lounge and bar, ensuring smooth service and an excellent guest experience.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bar and lounge services.
  • Oversee inventory, stock control, ordering, and proper storage of beverages and bar supplies.
  • Monitor bar costs, waste, and ensure proper portion control to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
Guest Experience
  • Greet, interact with, and handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain high service standards and consistency to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Develop creative promotions, events, and signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Staff Management & Training
  • Recruit, train, and supervise bar and lounge staff.
  • Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on service, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Motivate and lead staff to deliver excellent hospitality while maintaining team morale and discipline.
Financial & Sales Management
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, sales targets, and operational expenses.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and control costs.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and reconcile daily bar sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to design promotions, themed nights, and special events to drive foot traffic.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure the bar is always clean, organized, and well-presented.
  • Oversee hygiene and sanitation practices in line with food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits for stock, cleanliness, and service standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Lounge Manager, or in a senior supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and beverage trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced nightlife or hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
