Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Virtual Medical Assistant - Prior Auth. The Virtual Medical Assistant will handle day-to-day tasks such as managing prior authorizations, verifying insurance information, updating and maintaining medical records, and providing support for patient care activities. The assistant will also communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure the timely processing of authorizations and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assisting and Patient Care skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Office operations
  • Experience in handling Medical Records
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
  • Certification or an associate's degree in Medical Assisting or a related field is preferred
