MedGather is looking for a highly organized, meticulous, and professional Medical Virtual Assistant to provide critical administrative and clinical support within our healthcare clients. This role requires an individual who can expertly manage both virtual administrative duties and onsite coordination, ensuring the smooth operation of patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update patient records with high accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in scheduling and confirming appointments, surgeries, and procedures.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, family members, and medical staff.
  • Process prescription orders and ensure timely delivery to patients.
  • Provide administrative support such as handling correspondence, billing, and insurance verification.
  • Participate in telehealth sessions as needed, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a healthcare account (BPO) or as a medical virtual assistant.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare management software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not required.

Work Setup

  • Onsite (I.T. Park, Cebu City)
  • Graveyard shift (fixed weekends off)

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
