Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Interior Design or similar course.

  • At least 2-3 Year(s) of experience in Visual Merchandising/Interior Design from Retail, furniture industries or any related field.

  • Preferably with B2B Sales Experience/Projects (from conceptualization to execution of designs)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the maintenance and implementation of display standards at store level. Finds creative opportunities in increasing the sales potential of merchandise.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Executes display to all Our Home stores based on the standards indicated in the display manual.

  2. Prepares actual merchandise presentation in the following hotspot areas:

Entrance Setting

Window Setting

Lifestyle Setting

Room Setting

Vignette

Promotional Area

Mass Display

  1. Accessorizes display based on the staging guide.

  2. Maintains and updates display in the selling area.

  3. Disseminates information found in the display manual to store operations.

  4. Informs Store Managers/Supervisors about the principles of display and its underlying reasons to promote a better understanding of why merchandise is strategically placed in hotspot areas.

  5. Coordinates display execution to Sales Utility Clerks and Sales Promos.

  6. Administers and monitors consistency of display in all branches based on existing directions and standards.

  7. Aids in the attainment of sales targets by understanding category, sub-category and SKUs of merchandise.

  8. Find creative opportunities to push products and sell through.

  9. Participates in meetings and discussions with Store Operations and Merchandising in developing and implementing processes to bring industry landscape knowledge to the business.

  10. Understands processes that will allow for a product's optimum sales potential.

  11. Communicates all display concerns and directions to everyone concerned to ensure smooth implementation during set-up.

  12. Guarantees focus and quality on the whole process of display, from planning to

implementation, which demands different abilities, controls and attitude.

  1. Is responsible for the alignment and communication with Merchandising (what to sell) and Operations (what has been sold).

  2. Must have the following Job Discipline:

Translation and execution of brand equity in store

Creative management of all hotspots

POSM management and placement in store

Internal and external coordination

Marketing events implementation

Business understanding

Creation of display strategy and execution

Planning and analysis of display initiatives

  1. Accepts responsibility and demonstrates support for delegated decisions.

  2. Requires minimum supervision. Uses creative approaches to resolving issues.

  3. Suggests improvements and seeks opportunities for innovation.

  4. Carries out root/cause analysis in more complex problems.

  5. Can develop and implement recommendations.
