Job Description:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records with accuracy and confidentiality. This role ensures that all accounting transactions are properly recorded, monitored, and reported in compliance with government regulations and company policies.

The Accounting Specialist also plays a key role in processing BIR reports and ensuring timely filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record daily accounting transactions including journal entries, payables, and receivables.
  • Handle preparation and submission of BIR reports, including but not limited to:
  • BIR Form 1601C, 1604CF, 2550M/Q, 2551Q, 1702, 2316, and 2307.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all BIR returns and compliance reports according to government deadlines.
  • Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial documents.
  • Maintain and update accounting books and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in payroll processing, expense monitoring, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and government agencies when needed.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Support the finance team in implementing accounting policies and process improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general accounting or taxation.
  • Knowledge of BIR filing schedules, procedures, and report preparation is required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willing to work onsite and can start immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
