About the role

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting operations of our growing organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable on a regular basis
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and other finance-related tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the education or service industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
