About the role

As a Senior Accountant at Golden Century Marketing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial management and reporting. Based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, this full-time position will see you working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  2. Managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
  3. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  4. Conducting internal audits and recommending process improvements
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
  6. Providing financial advice and support to department heads and the executive team
  7. Supervising and mentoring junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the marketing or consumer goods industry
  3. Strong knowledge of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software, such as accounting system and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholder
