Job Description:

  • Call carriers to confirm on track for loading/unloading. update in mcleod in real time.
  • Carrier Coordination: Call and communicate with carriers to confirm they are on track for scheduled loading and
  • unloading times. Proactively follow up to address any potential delays or issues.
  • Real-Time Updates: Enter and update all load status information in McLeod (TMS) accurately and in real time to ensure
  • the system reflects the most current movement and delivery status.
  • Problem Resolution: Escalate concerns promptly if a carrier is off schedule and coordinate with the appropriate teams to
  • minimize service disruptions.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and timely communication with carriers, clients, and internal teams to provide
  • visibility on shipment progress.
  • Documentation: Ensure all call notes, updates, and carrier confirmations are properly logged for tracking and
  • compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong command of American English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident in making outbound calls to carriers and obtaining accurate shipment updates through phone and email.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), particularly McLeod Software.
  • Experience in performing check calls and load tracking within the UberFreight portal and McLeod.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to record and update information accurately in real time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple shipments, and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate and coordinate solutions for delays or issues.
