What does a day in the life of a Logistics Coordinator look like?

  • Process and track incoming customer orders within the call center system.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing status updates to call center agents and customers.
  • Address customer inquiries related to order status, shipping delays, and returns.
  • Research and resolve logistical issues, such as lost packages, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipment details, and returns.
  • Collaborate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in logistics processes and implement efficiency measures.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new logistics procedures for the call center.

What are the required qualifications of a Logistics Coordinator?

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or logistics-related role.
  • Strong understanding of basic logistics principles (order processing, inventory management, shipping procedures).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
