Job Title: Safety Officer 3

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer 3 to join our team. Safety Officer 3 will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies in compliance with local or national regulations.

  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  4. Provide training and education to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.

  5. Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  6. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.

  7. Ensure that safety equipment and personal protective gear are available and in good condition.

  8. Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry's best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a safety-related role (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting)

  3. Qualified Safety Officer 3 as based on the qualification set by DOLE.

  4. Must have attended at least 88 hours of relevant trainings.
