The Accounting Staff plays a vital role in supporting the company's financial stability and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The Accounting Staff will also collaborate with other departments to support the company's mission and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in general accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, tax calculations, and government-related filings.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using XERO.
  • Process payments, settle taxes, and ensure timely submission of requirements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and prepare financial schedules and reconciliations as assigned.
  • Assist in verifying payroll computations.
  • Organize and maintain accounting documents and files.
  • Propose and help implement initiatives to improve accounting processes and support departmental goals.
  • Develop and update "Best Practices" to strengthen financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn, be trained, and take on new challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and goal-driven mindset.
