About the Role

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for enriching and validating target lists with accurate owner-level contact details. By researching, verifying, and maintaining high-quality data, this role ensures the sales team has reliable information to drive effective outreach and business growth.

What you will do:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enrich acquisition target lists with owner-level contact information (name, email, phone).
  • Validate contact details for accuracy, correctness, and deliverability.
  • Research and source missing information using lead generation tools, databases, and online platforms.
  • Maintain data integrity by regularly updating and cleaning contact records.
  • Provide accurate, timely updates on validation progress, data quality, and completion status.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align data needs and ensure lead quality supports campaign goals.
  • Monitor and report on data accuracy rates, enrichment success, and lead quality improvements.
  • Stay updated with best practices and tools for data sourcing and validation.
  • And other ad hoc tasks that is relevant to business needs.

What you'll need to succeed:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Educational background required / desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Work experience required / desired:

  • 1–2 years of experience in lead generation, prospecting, or sales development
  • Data entry, research, or data validation experience, especially in a marketing or sales operations role
  • Background in telemarketing, inside sales, or outbound prospecting

Other qualifications:

  • Proven experience in lead generation, data research, or sales support.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate information accurately.
  • Proficiency with lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Lusha, etc.) and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with data validation techniques and email deliverability checks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple lists and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting accuracy and timeliness goals.
