Quick Rundown:

Were looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist with experience in a retail or mail-order pharmacy, or telehealth company managing prescriptions. The ideal candidate is comfortable with medical and prescription terminology (e.g., dosage, frequency, compound names, abbreviations) and understands standard workflows, including payments, refills, and lab approvals.

What You'll Do:

• Review treatment plans and process prescription orders accurately using e-Prescribing software and internal tools
• Complete all follow-up tasks associated with the prescription writing workflow, ensuring timely and proper completion
• Perform quality checks on prescriptions to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal standards
• Collaborate other internal teams and potentially providers to resolve questions or issues related to prescription details
• Support the Pharmacy Operations team by escalating prescription-related challenges when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the prescription process
• Handle routine data entry tasks related to prescription workflows with a high level of precision
• Work collaboratively in a remote environment with other teams and pharmacy partners

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or telehealth operations role is preferred
• Highly motivated college graduates with applicable majors (e.g., pharmacy, chemistry, biology, etc.) are also encouraged to apply
• Experience with e-Prescribing systems, pharmacy operations software, or electronic health records is a plus
• Familiarity with prescription terminology, dosage calculations, and common abbreviations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Organized and comfortable with routine, repetitive workflows
• Able to work independently with sound judgment and minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when working with healthcare professionals
• Technically proficient and able to learn new software quickly
• Passion for improving the patient experience in a healthcare setting
