JOB OBJECTIVE:


• Sources for the right suppliers/providers that can provide needed requirements with the shortest lead time at optimum cost.


• Ensures that shipments arrive on the required arrival date thus helps prevent stock issues and unavailability.


• Monitors and ensures availability of valid permits and licenses and other required documents by consignee.


• Manages brokers billing and monitors timely payment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Performs clerical functions for Export such as preparation of Purchase Order under SAP and Cflow, Price-watch, etc.


• Provides monthly quotation for Export shipments.


• Attends meetings and coordinates with Export Brokers and Operations Team.


• Accredits new suppliers (brokers, forwarders and truckers) as needed.


• Conducts supplier audits and performance evaluation.


• Reviews and approves (1st approver) D&Ts, FAN, brokers and forwarders billing and incremental charges prior to sending to the next approver.


• Monitors and coordinates shipment status, customs processing and releasing with Brokers, Forwarders and PPIC.


• Facilitates and monitors application and renewal of various NAI and FPGMC government mandated operational permits.


• Issues SCAR as needed.


• Prepares and monitors claims as needed.


• Provides assistance on BOC debited and prepares monthly accruals.


• Provides AOP for landing factors of items assigned.


• Coordinates with Category Leads and Suppliers as needed.


• Prepares reports, presentations and other task that may be assigned from time to time


• Monitors, coordinates and assists in suppliers' payment processing.


• Assists in BOC audit preparation and documentation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


• Graduate of any 4 business related course, BS Customs Administration would be an advantage


• At least 3 years of experience working in brokerage or forwarding firm.


• Computer literate (effective use of PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS office applications)


• Good interpersonal and communication skills


• Detail-oriented, flexible, resourceful and drives for results
