Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate is responsible for building, managing, and strengthening Empath's client relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.
Key responsibilities include:Client Acquisition & Growth
- Generate sales leads and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to achieve sales quotas.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and coordinate with the Business Development team.
- Draft business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference materials, and other required documents.
Account Management & Retention
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client needs are understood and addressed.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to achieve sustainable partnerships.
- Execute creative client retention strategies, incorporating client feedback into growth plans.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries about Empath's products and services.
- Assist in resolving client requests or escalations effectively.
- Act as a client advocate and collaborate with internal departments to deliver solutions aligned with client objectives.
Reporting & Market Insights
- Prepare reports on account status and maintain accurate client records, including contracts and renewals.
- Collect and analyze client and industry data to identify consumer behavior patterns and market trends.
- Oversee the client relationship management database to manage customer contacts and communication lists.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to develop strategic plans and achieve KPIs.
- Develop a strong understanding of Empath's products and services to maximize value for clients.
- Perform other tasks relevant to the role of Business Development Associate.
