About the role

Trinity Workforce Solutions Inc' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for our Australian clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. This position is based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Process bi-weekly, monthly, or other periodic payrolls for multiple clients with varying pay schedules and payroll requirements
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, wages, and statutory deductions
  • Maintain detailed payroll records and prepare required reports and filings
  • Liaise with clients to understand their payroll needs and address any queries or issues
  • Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Australian regulations
  • Provide support and training to junior members of the payroll team
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data with the general ledger

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior bookkeeping or payroll role, preferably in an Australian context
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation, superannuation, and other statutory requirements
  • Proficient in using payroll software and ERP systems to process and manage payroll like XERO. Xero certified is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve shared goals
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
